BIOGRAPHY
Bogdan Ota was the revelation of Norway’s Got Talent 2011 season. Even though he is a classically trained pianist, he developed as an autodidact in symphonic orchestration techniques. In 2011, the Norwegian judges and audience were blown away with the song Harald's Dream. In that particular moment, he introduced to the world a unique style being deep, powerful, sober but very commercial at the same time.
His first live appearance on Norwegian television brought him a huge success in both Norway and Romania. Soon the entire world found out about this prodigious composer thanks to the internet. Bogdan's music is easy to listen, feel, associate and enjoy. To describe his art is complicated because of it's uniqueness, but in a few words would be to say: if one combined classical music and pop with film score and add some modern and electronic musical flavors, the result is Bogdan's style.
The Romanian writer and musical critic Sergiu Alex said that Bogdan's compositions are created in New Age Symphonic style. BOGDAN's name (BOG-DAN) is a combination of two Slavic words which means THE GIFT OF GOD. The album "Day of Wrath anno domini MMXII" is indeed the gift of God that was revealed thru Bogdan's talent. IT'S A MUST HAVE!
