Brad is a singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, originally from Oklahoma, who has played only by ear since he was three years old. Stylistically speaking, his music crosses many genres, incorporating bluegrass, blues, rock, country, and swing influences.
Starting out in Oklahoma City, Brad earned a spot playing guitar and singing in the bluegrass band of legendary American fiddler, Byron Berline. During this time he became chief engineer at Palladium Engineering, where he remained for a decade.
In 2006, Brad formed the acoustic group, Horseshoe Road, with fiddler, Kyle Dillingham. In 2010, the band was honored with an International Acoustic Music Award in the Bluegrass/Country category for Brad's original song, 'We Don't Smell the Home Fires Anymore'.
Around this time, he began touring with Australian guitarist, Tommy Emmanuel, as his sound man. Brad remained with Tommy for four years.
Settling in beautiful Nashville, TN, with his wife, Laura, in 2010, Brad is expanding his producing/engineering skills, having mixed projects for Byron Berline, Tommy Emmanuel, and Frank Vignola, among others.
You might hear him on a Nashville recording here and there, doing background vocal and multi-instrumental session work, and you can find him singing, and playing guitar or bass with various artists such as Chris Henry, John Tomlin, Mike Bub, and Paul Kramer.
