Bret Short

Biography

I have been in the music business for 30 years, have been on many recordings, and toured with many major artists. Being raised in Atlanta, GA, I was fortunate to be surrounded by some of the greatest players in country, jazz, R&B, rock, blues and gospel. My family hails from small mountain towns in north Georgia so my first musical influences were bluegrass, gospel and traditional country. I would like to thank all of the many great artists I have worked with over the years on the road and in the studio. I have contributed to approximately 2000 studio sessions; some resulting in chart records. I am also blessed to have written songs with some of this country's greatest songwriters. I mainly spend my time now writing, doing sessions, and producing other artists of all genres of music. Music has changed over the years. I appreciate anything done well in any form. Thank you for visiting my page and don't be a stranger. I have some future projects I am working on ... details at 11. Peace.
