Edgy, propulsive, psychedelic jazz fusion defines the Bride of Chaotica experience. An intricate, vividly cinematic, modern sound informed by the improvisational spirit of jazz and rock champions of the late 20th century.
The band’s self-described “evenings of adventurous jazz” feature episodic forays into the sonic unknown. Two albums worth of Bride of Chaotica’s own striking instrumentals, intermingled with their rearrangements of classic hits from a spectrum of recording artists ranging from the Beatles to Curtis Mayfield to Roxy Music, provides the source material for their trademark live improv explorations.
Founded in September of 2008 by studio bassist Robert "Red" Redmond with drummer Tim Tuthill and guitarist/arranger
Bill Bechtel, Bride Of Chaotica adopted their name from an episode of 'Star Trek : Voyager' and played their first show on
New Years Day 2009 at Yeoman's Road Pub on Davis Island near downtown Tampa.
Their new debut CD "Bamboo Transistor" will be available from CD Baby and a host of online music distribution companies.
