Burke Long grew up in Candor NC and began exploring his love of music at an early age. Burke writes, sings, and plays music of the American South with influences such as Buddy Holly, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, and Steve Earle. His music is well-crafted country rock. He has opened shows for The Jayhawks, Hootie & The Blowfish, and Patty Loveless. He was selected twice to perform at the BMI Crossroads Showcase in Memphis, TN, once fronting his own band and the second time as a solo acoustic artist. He has performed numerous times at Nashville's famed Bluebird Cafe. Burke’s latest addition to his musical talent is on the production side. Check out “Cold Winter Moon” & his latest CD “Short Ride”.
