C. René HIRSCHFELD lives as a freelance composer and violinist in Berlin (Germany). He studied composition and violin at the music academy ”Carl-Maria von Weber” Dresden 1982-87 and was selected as a „Master‘s Pupil“ by Udo Zimmermann.
Simultaneously he studied dance and dance theory .
René has won several national and international awards and scholarships such as Weber-Prize 1984,
Eisler-Prize 1986, Mendelssohn-Scholarship 1988/89, Göttingen award for guitar composition 2000.
He was tutor at the music academies Dresden and Berlin (1987-94), the ACMP Foundation New York
and gives Workshops for the interpretation of contemporary music.
1985-95 René worked as a dancer and performance artist too, in the 90th he also worked as a concert pianist and accompanist.
1994/95 he lived and worked in Sweden, since then he lives as a freelance composer and musician in Berlin.
As a violinist he is a sought after chamber musician and soloist.
The key areas of his repertoire are baroque music and music of the 20th/21st century.
René has written opera, ballet, symphonic works, chamber music, songs, solo pieces and music for choir. His works have been performed around Europe, in Asia and the USA. Sheet music has been published by Hofmeister Musikverlag (Leipzig) and Verlag Neue Musik (Berlin). CDs at col legno, Ragaprong and kreuzberg records.

Fabian KLENTZKE is a pianist for Tango Argentino . He studied Oboe and Piano at the music academy ”Carl-Maria von Weber” and lives in Dresden (Germany). He studied Tango with Peter Reil, Prof. Marino Rivero, Nestor Marconi, Fernando Maguna. Fabian was founder of the famous SEXTETO ANDORINHA and the duo TANGO AMORATADO and has played Tango all around europe as well as in Japan. He also works as a singer and performs theatrical music as well as music for stage performances and recitals. There are several CDs available at auris subtilis.
