Biography

Caroline Léonardelli classical harpist has an accomplished career at as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestra musician and teacher. Caroline's recording El Dorado received a 2010 Juno nomination for Classical Album of the Year - Solo or Chamber Ensemble. Caroline is principal harpist with the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestre Symphonique de Gatineau. She has also performed as a guest with numerous orchestras including the Montreal, Kitchener-Waterloo, Quebec, and Halifax Symphony Orchestras.

Caroline’s chamber ensembles include the Four Seasons Harp Quartet, Flute & Harp with Leslie Newman the Para Arpa harp duo with Caroline Lizotte, and mezzo soprano Julie Nesrallah. Caroline has been performed solo major festivals including the Elora Festival, Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival, Baie des Chaleurs International Festival, American Harp Society, and Ste-Pétronille Chamber Series Quebec City.

Caroline’s mentors include Lily Laskine, Jacqueline Borot, Judy Loman, and Christiane Plaa.
