Biography

For two decades Carolyn Cruso has been making a name for herself as a multi-instrumentalist, writing for and performing on the hammered dulcimer and various flutes. In 2000 she expanded her musical attention to include the genre of singer/songwriting and has been delighting audiences around the nation ever since with her expressive voice, elegant melodies, fine guitar playing and poetic lyrics. As a performer Cruso weaves a web with a myriad of instruments, diverse styles, subtle nuances and vivid images. Seattle’s Victory Music describes her music as "a hypnotic and alluring blend of folk, pop and jazz."
