Carter Schade is a 13-year-old pianist and composer from New England. Since beginning piano lessons at the age of four, Carter has always enjoyed playing music and sharing God's gift of music with others. Carter composes, arranges, and performs contemporary piano solos in the style of contemporary pianists such as David Nevue, David Lanz, and George Winston.
After composing his first song at the age of eight, Carter has continued to write music prolifically, expressing his ideas, desires, and experiences though playing the piano. He refers to music as his "first language", and the one in which he feels most comfortable speaking.
His music is influenced by the world around him, and is in reality an ongoing dairy of his life, thoughts, and experiences. Most importantly, however, Carter's music is a reflection of his deep love, admiration, and devotion for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and a form of worship to Him. Carter desires to please the Lord in all that he does, and gives all the glory to God for giving him his gift of music.
