Casie Luong is a Vietnamese-American singer/songwriter born and raised in Texas. She studied classical piano for 11 years and has recently begun venturing out to her own musical style. From singing in small ensembles, choral ensembles to musical theater acts, she has found her way as an up and coming singer/songwriter.
Influences on her style: Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Billy Joel, John Lenin, The Fray, Ingrid Michaelson, Sara Bareilles, Regina Spektor, Diane Birch, and Norah Jones.
Her versatile style ranges from: classical, broadway, jazz, soul, pop to gospel. She loves to take experiences, different bits of phrases and stories, and write songs. Casie adds her own style of rhythmic play, classical piano background and simple lyricism to bring about the honest expressions in her songs.
