BIOGRAPHY
Born to a multi-generational farming family in the midwest, I grew up country in every sense of the word. My music training, however, has roots in classical and broadway favorites. A lot of my music takes the listener back to simpler times. Some is reflective of personal experiences from my own past or that of friends and family. Some is humorous, poking fun at myself and societal norms. Some of my tunes are tributes to those who deserve notice and honor. Writing has been a passion since I was small. Singing my writing was the logical evolution of self expression. There will always be part of my past in my music. It is my journey, and I invite you along!
