Biography

Catlin Martin and the Common Thread began as a combination of the duo Catlin Martin & Luke Basile, and the remnants of The Common Thread. The latter was a Country/Rock band that had undergone various changes over the years until connecting with Catlin and Luke. Catlin has been the lead vocalist and songwriter since the beginning, along with Luke on Lead guitar, and Jeff on Bass and supplying the vocal harmony. The position of drummer has gone through several changes during the course of the band's growth, beginning with Charlie King. After Charlie came Kevin Thompson, who was the percussionist for the first full album, who was then replaced by Matt Westlander.
