BIOGRAPHY
Chad Michael, A.K.A. C-DAT, has been a musician for 10 years. His first solo album, "First Class Ride”, debuted in 2008 and he is currently working on his follow-up release. Born and raised in the bay area, Chad has developed his own style of music through the years, blending hip-hop, rock and alternative beats with cutting lyrics and a sense of soul and purpose. This style is evident in his upcoming album, “Outlaw” which puts his evolution as an artist on showcase. In addition to vocals, Chad produces his own beats and writes all his own lyrics. His music comes from the heart and is shaped by his own life experiences. His musical influences vary from rock to hip-hop with artists such as Bone Thugs N’ Harmony, Snoop Dogg, Twista, Tech Nine, Metallica, The Who and a variety of underground bay area artists. He has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Rufus, Andre Nickatina, Husalah, Turf Talk, Matt Blaque and KillaKlump. Chad believes that listening to a variety of styles keeps music from becoming stale and hopes to bring that type of versatility to the table on his new album. Look for the release “Outlaw” in 2012.
