Charles Jerone engulfs the listener's ear with a comfortable feel-good aura that is undeniable even by the toughest of critics. Hailed as the Genialistic Innovator of Gospel Music, Charles Jerone is back with his latest release "Larger Than Life" which is a veritable gospel music collector's item for both the singer and musician.
There is no doubt that Rochester, NY is filled with talented musicians of all genres, but insiders know that the richest concentration of talent lies within our Religious community. Charles Jerone has been a recognized figure amongst Rochester’s elite gospel artist since his introduction as the student Director of the dynamic School of the Arts gospel choir in 1996. The new album is scheduled to be released in June of 2012, and will be the 4th solo album in his already defined musical career. Dr. Charles Jerone introduced his first Solo effort entitled No Clue in 2003, and it was well received by the community. However, over the last eight years there has been a definite transition in the faith walk and personal life of Dr. Charles Jerone, which is reflected heavily in his music.
