Recipient of the title "Best singer/songwriter" in the 2011 Cleveland Scene Magazine readers poll, Charlie Mosbrook has amassed a collection of songs respected and enjoyed by his audience and musical peers alike. In early 2011 the CD “Coverage: The Songs of Charlie Mosbrook” was released including 17 performances of his music by many of Northeast Ohio' most prominent acts. He performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum during the American Masters series, "Hard Travelin': The Life and Legacy of Woody Guthrie . He has shared the stage with musicians like CSN, Jewel, Iris Dement and many other major acts. His music has been performed on NPR and FolkAlley.com. Performing with a deep soulful voice and eclectic distinctive acoustic guitar style, Charlie's sincerity in song is complimented by his playful introspective wit. Having suffered a spinal cord injury in 2010, this former triathlete/marathoners inspiring response to tragedy reverberates through out his performances with his most recent music reflecting his unwavering determination over adversity.
