Chase Hamblin

Biography

The descendant of one of America’s first Gypsies and the great grandson of a Vaudeville songwriter, Chase Hamblin was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was raised in Italy, France, and Singapore. His travels have taken him throughout Europe and Southeast Asia and from coast to coast across the US. Chase’s music channels many styles and influences from psychedelic folk and Texas swing to super pop and glam rock ‘n’ roll. His lyrics are thoughtful, poetic insights into the ills and the thrills of the human experience.

Chase's debut EP, A Fine Time, was recorded at the historic Sugar Hill Studios in Houston, TX with producer/musician Derek Dunivan and was independently released in June 2009. A Fine Time ranked #5 on Power Pop Station Brasil’s Top 10 EPs of 2009 and #11 on Absolute Powerpop’s Top 15 EPs of 2009. A Fine Time was re-issued internationally by SteadyBoy Records on February 15, 2011.

Chase Hamblin and his band are currently recording a new full length album titled VAUdeVILLE. Two singles from the new album, "Beautiful Things" and "Round And Round," have been digitally released.
