Synthpop duo from Bolton, UK formed in January 2013, comprising vocalist Jennifer Gill and instrumentalist Ian Gordon. Independently produced, the duo work heavily with electronic synthesizers and computer-based sequencers. Influenced by day to day life, they tell of their experiences in the North West and the desire to escape mediocrity.
Vocalist Jennifer Gill studied contemporary and classical music at university, citing jazz singer Roberta Flack, folk singer Eva Cassidy and pop singer Beyoncé amongst her influences. Guitarist and keyboardist Ian Gordon is a self-taught musician and songwriter, citing Peter Gabriel, rock band Muse and film composer Angelo Badalamenti amongst his influences. The resulting collaboration brings forth a unique and eclectic sound.
On March 16th 2013, BBC Introducing in Manchester played one of the duo’s synthpop tracks, Out of my Dreams.
Actively pursuing music licensing opportunities, the duo currently hold a commercial license with Pump Audio based in New York's Hudson Valley.
