Chris is a San Francisco based singer/songwriter. He was raised in Sunnyvale, California with under the influence of his parents' record collection; Simon and Garfunkel, Neil Diamond, John Denver, to name a few. When his paper route allowed him to earn money for his own collection he populated it with Cheap Trick, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Kiss, AC/DC, and Queen.
“Having grown up in a place (Sunnyvale could be considered the heart of Silicon Valley) where the entrepreneurial spirit is so engrained in the culture I’ve always wanted to do my own thing and I’ve always had creative urges.” Upon graduation from the University of California at Davis he embarked upon a 10+ year career in television but left it behind to pursue music and he has never looked back. “TV had it’s creative moments but it didn’t allow the full creative expression I wanted.”
Chris had been playing guitar and writing music for many years and as time evolved it became obvious that this was his direction. “Music has always been so important to who I am, to how I’m feeling, to moving me emotionally.” He released the albums What Drives You in 2009, Hermosilla in 2010, and March in 2011. I want to continue to evolve as a singer/songwriter/musician and explore every direction music might take me. I am incredibly grateful each day to be making music.”
