Following up his successful Christmas single, Church Bells, Chris Zobac extends his reach in the music industry with his powerful and earnest single, Heartbeat.
Distributed to radio by Nashville based Air9 Promotions, Heartbeat unites Zobac with the production talents of engineer and producer Russ Long. This early 2013 release is set to help define who Chris Zobac is a solo artist.
Chris is no stranger to the music industry. As cofounder and eventual frontman for the Central Illinois based alternative rock band Two Cent Offering, he has shared the stage at music festivals with such heavy hitters as Tenth Avenue North, NeedToBreathe, Casting Crowns and Switchfoot. With appearances on television and radio, and extensive touring, Chris has a history of using his music to bring a message of hope to others. Working with organizations like Compassion International and Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), Zobac has been able to draw attention to those in need and provide an opportunity for his listeners to bring change. After five years with Two Cent Offering, this front man has re-entered the industry under a new name – his own.
Released from the confines of a band approach, Chris delves into an array sounds and song writing styles to create a sound that pays homage to the lineage of rock and roll while having a character that stands on its own. Drawing upon musical influences ranging from classic rock, alternative and modern pop, Chris constructs songs that allow the listener to reflect while making you want to move. “I want to create music that leads you to do something,” says Zobac. “...whether its traveling halfway across the world to help those in need or simply getting up on your feet to dance.”
