Christie Words Patterson, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She is the third of six children born to Archie and Edna Words. She began singing at a very early age and continues to give God glory through her gift of song. She enjoys singing with her sisters (Gwen and Countess…the Words Sisters). Christie is an active member of Center for Hope Ministries (Bloomington, Illinois) under Bishop Larry and Elder Desetra Taylor. She currently is involved with the choir but Praise and Worship is her passion. Christie’s desire is that through her testimony and desire to worship God, others will be healed and set free. She enjoys spending time with her children Undre’ Jr, Chris, Arnita & Mataya.
In God’s timing, ”Divine Possibilities" was birthed. The songs on this project came from her personal time of worship and obedience and her desire to reach the hearts of the people of God. This CD tells Christie’s testimony through a unique and anointed way that gives God the glory as well as highlights a new sound of Praise & Worship.
