Christopher is a classically trained pianist (Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Washington) with also a background in jazz and improvisational styles (Master of Music in Studio Music and Jazz from the University of Miami.) Christopher also studied with Gary Peacock, Vince Maggio and Ron Miller and is influenced by many genre of music. He also has a Master in Teaching degree from City University and has been a professional music educator and performing musician for over 20 years. He names Keith Jarret, Bill Evans, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, George Winston, David Lanz, Michael Jones, Liz Story, David Nevue, Jim Brickman, David Benoit, Dave Grusin, Ralph Towner, John McLaughlin, Frederic Chopin, Claude Debussy, Erik Satie, J.S. Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven as just a few of his musical influences.
