Cindy Chang is an aspiring singer, performer, entrepreneur, a former technical writer, and a major dog lover and advocate (well, all animals, but especially dogs)! Cindy was born in Seoul, Korea (now a US citizen) and has a BA in Speech Communication/Prelaw from the University of Illinois.
She appeared on America's Got Talent Season 6 where she sang in front of the largest audience ever in her life and won the hearts of people from all over the country and the world (despite her respiratory infection :)). Singing on America's Got Talent was a dream for Cindy, especially with such a late start to pursuing singing; and also since it was only her 3rd time singing somewhere in 10 years, besides singing for a couple of friend's and relatives' weddings.
She is very grateful for all the amazing support from the people who saw her on tv, and to her friends who knew her since years back when she was too shy to talk in front of people and who know what a struggle it has been for her to pursue her dream to sing.
“I will be forever grateful to America’s Got Talent for giving someone like me a chance to experience such a blessing. Just as I believe in my heart that God gave me a heart to sing, I believe God will let me know if and when it is ever time to stop. Until then, I will continue to work hard and pray that God will open doors where they need to be opened. It is a blessing to have a passion for something, so I will just do it!”
