BIOGRAPHY
Cirkestra started as a circus pit band and stuck together. The troup is led by former circus clown turned composer/accordionists Peter Bufano. Bufano is a graduate of Clown College and Berklee College of Music Film Scoring Department.
Sound familiar? perhaps you've heard them. Their eclectic tango/eastern european/jazz influenced instrumentals are in movies and television shows around the world. Their 4 original scores for circuses, 1 movie soundtrack, and most recent "The Hairless Woman" are available on CD, and all digital formats. Cirkestra will tour northeastern US states in January 2013.
