FIESTA Orchestra (formerly known as ClaraSalsa) is a Salsa orchestra featuring authentic Latin music that combines traditional, hardcore “Salsa” rhythms along with contemporary styles of today! Originally from New York City, this orchestra now makes its home in Miami, Florida! The group’s fantastic repertoire consists of original songs written in Spanish as well as others in English...
Their CD debut entitled "Baila Con Ella" received critical acclaim among industry leading magazines, Nightclub DJ’s and radio stations. This new project entitled...Me Esta Gustando (I'm Liking It) continues to add more of the same music style that has made this group so popular. In addition, it features a more bi-lingual presence, which has been embraced by many of their fans and supporters!
FIESTA features two lead singers in the group, one male and one female with many years of experience entertaining their audiences. The group uses a piano, bass, timbales congas, bongos and a horn section. The band is available for concerts, festivals, outdoor venues, weddings, corporate events and much more! As entertainers, this talented group began performing throughout the NY metropolitan area, including NJ, CT and PA. They established themselves as one of the best local bands the city had to offer, working corporate events, the nightclub scene and the college circuit.
Now in Florida, these singers have performed at some of the most prestigious venues, hotels & resorts, nightclubs, concerts and festivals in Florida, including The Ritz Carlton Hotel & Resort (Orlando), The Portofino Hotel & Resort (Universal Studios, Orlando), The Windham Hotel & Resort (Orlando), The Parrot Jungle (Miami), The Orlando Salsa Congress, The Tampa Salsafest and the 2009 Florida State Fair (Tampa). They were also musical guests on the popular Miami TV show, "El Show De Fernando Hidalgo"
The backbone of this Salsa orchestra is their bandleader, lead singer and composer, Jorge Laureano, who has been involved in all aspects of this industry for over 20 years. His vision of having a bi-lingual, Latin music concept also included having a female vocalist who could hold her own. He discovered talented Lee Malavet twelve years ago while she performed with another band and the two have been working together on stage ever since!
