Pop/Adult Contemporary Canadian recording artist and songwriter Cole Armour was seven years old when he stood on a bucket and silenced a local audience with his singing voice for the first time.
At the early age of nine, he graced the main stage at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival bringing the audience to their feet. That same year he achieved 1st place in the BC Junior Talent Contest, top Solo Voice at the Kiwanis Fraser Valley International Music Festival and became the first child to ever win the Red Robinson Talent Showdown since its inception in 1961.
Armour's 2010 highlights included headlining for David Foster's Kids Help Kids fundraising event, performing at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics and for the Consulate of Montenegro, and Columbia, and was broadcasted live on national television during his performance of the Canadian and American anthems for a Vancouver Canucks hockey game.
2011 was a stand out year for Armour with his performance of All By My Self by Eric Carmen (famously covered by Celine Dion) on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in October 2011 in front of millions of viewers. By DeGeneres' gracious invitation to showcase Armour on her show, his profile peaked, leading to further coverage with ET Canada, City TV, The Rush CTV and Global TV.
In 2012, Armour released his debut single Phenomenal to Hot/AC radio in the US which charted #38 on the Top 40 Billboard Indicator Charts. He followed it up with his second single, Original, in the spring of 2013 which ranked #37 on the same chart.
This past year Armour has placed a focus on his songwriting skills and developing a strong team in preparation for the next step in pursuit of his music career. He celebrates another successful year, and remains an active humanitarian who supports anti-bullying campaigns, child welfare and animal protection and safety.
