Cris plays one instrument, the ocarina. While the modern ocarina originates from 1800s Italy, the concept of the ocarina is quite older with precursors being invented in many different parts of the world. In a way, it is an instrument from everywhere, and Cris' music reflects this. She has performed before audiences from 15 countries with universal music that crosses cultural boundaries with universal melodies. Her music is relatable, emotive, and evocative.
