Cristen Grey - Lead Vocal - Lead & Rhythm Guitar Hailing from the enchantment of Santa Fe, NM, Cristen was born in Albuquerque, NM where she was introduced to a myriad of musical influences. Her father was a multi-instrumentalist who played classical pieces as well as the traditional music of Northern New Mexico, her mother played harmonica, piano and sang. With this familial influence abound, by age twelve, Cristen was hooked on the sound of a distorted guitar and by the age of fourteen, she was composing and performing at local coffeehouses, as well as sneaking in under-aged performances at various venues.
In the fall of 2002 Cristen release her debut CD ‘Just a little reminder’. As a result of this release and her strong work ethic, she is being recognized as one of New Mexico's premier talents.
2006 ‘Out of Control’ was licensed for a film short called ‘Bloodline’; a detective story that was a part of the national 48 Hour Film Project
2009 Nominated for ‘Main-Stream Rock’ by the NMMA for 'Bad Emotion'
2008 Nominated for ‘Best Rock-Adult Contemporary’ and awarded ‘Best Rock-Adult Contemporary’ by the NMMA for 'So Much Better'
2007 Nominated for 'Best Song' and awarded ‘Best Rock-Adult Contemporary’ by the NMMA for 'Absolute'
2006-2008 Selected to showcase at Hyperactive Music Festival in Albuquerque in front of record industry executives
2004 Placed as semi-finalist in the national 2004 Billboard Magazine Independent Music World Series (IMWS) competition
2003 Material selected for the Durango Songwriters Expo where it was performed for select industry professionals
2002 Nominated for ‘Album of the Year’ by the NMMA
