Broken Teeth, described once as “A pissed off ACDC”,
and ‘They punch you in the face and knee you in the groin with ROCK”. Born in 1999 when Perris records
owner,Tom Mathers asked Paul Lidel (Dirty Looks, Dangerous Toys) and drummer Bruce Rivers,
if they would be up to writing and recording a big rock record for his label under a new name. They would add
Texas Music Hall of Famer frontman Jason McMaster(Dangerous Toys, Watchtower, Ignitor, Evil United) before
taking off with writing endeavors. When time came to play live, they would add another Hall of Famer,Pariah
guitarist, Jared Tuten, and Bassist Mike Watson(Dangerous Toys).
The bands self titled debut was a surprisingly good seller for the label, and more shows piled up.
2002 brought the release of “Guilty Pleasure” on Perris/Killingbird records, Then 2004 a full length live release
“Blood on the Radio” (also released on DVD).Even though the core line up remains, the band saw Paul Lidel
leave in 2006, replaced by David Beeson, Not without bassplayer changes, either, as Brett McCormick played
on the bands next two releases, “Electric” 2008, and “Viva la Rock Fantastico” 2010. Brett replaced by Travis
Weiss for release of “Devil on the Road” in 2012. Tragedy struck with the sudden passing of Travis Weiss that
same year. Broken Teeth stand current and are now writing and recording with bassist,Robb Lampman.
2015, The band released a collection of new material for a vinyl release called “Bulldozer” in October 2015.
Broken Teeth are currently recording a new full length disc ,release date unknown.
