DIVA & the DIXIES is a fun loving, good-time trio. They found a special chemistry and sound in a beautiful sunset moment which inspired their first song, the Sunset Song, written by Nancy Renee Emmerich. Dixie Lu Sims the 2nd soprano and talented lyricist is Nancy's sister. Dixie Jo Henson is their adopted soul sister and often the inspiration for the songs. Yes they really are both named DIXIE. The trio sings mostly "oldies but goodies" some Andrew sisters, some McGuire sisters along with a little fun country found in the originals written by Sims & Emmerich. The vocal arrangements are done by Nancy Emmerich who has her master's degree in music from the Juilliard School of Music in New York. The instrumental arrangements are done by the very talented pianist and composer Mike Strickland.
