Biography

Endeva the BeatZmith

Endeva the BeatZmith, born in Atlanta GA, USA took Hip-Hop music to heart at an early age. At age 1, he moved from Georgia to New Jersey and began his journey into an era that motivated him musically. While expanding in his young growth, Hip-Hop was in its prime with the likes of legends Rakim, KRS-ONE, Kool G Rap, Big Daddy etc. These particular icons inspired him to adapt to the streets which played heavily in his poetry. In the 7th grade, he commenced his thought process into a well delivered positive message that he desired greatly for the world to capture. He continued his lyrical abilities throughout High School. After his High School graduation, he moved from New Jersey to Michigan. Endeva had to quickly adapt to a workforce environment controlled by the government and society. In this distinct period of events, his father (A member of the original Funk Brothers and a Motown legend) began to teach him the fundamentals of the piano and musical arranging. During this period, he was attending college at Wayne County Community College in Michigan and decided that his field of studies wasn’t for him. So he initiated his talents over the years into musical producing.

In his early 20s, he was introduced to a partner that was also musically gifted and formed a group entitled “Raw Loops”. This production duo developed and lasted well into the late 90s where their talents were heard by the Wu-Tang Clans “Sunz of Man”. By this time, they had countless amounts of musical compositions waiting to be heard by the public. In 1999, Raw Loops and the Sunz of Man collaborated briefly at the Alien Flyers studio in New York. After this significant event, Raw Loops traveled back to Michigan where the duo met Chris Webber’s group “No Coast” and recorded a few songs. In the late part of 1999, the group encountered a subsequent turn of events which caused them to go their separate ways. Endeva continued to craft his talents as a solo artist. He produced a few albums on his own which displayed only a portion of his love for Hip-Hop music!! He's been featured in a few publications oversees and here in the US. He has also become one of the most influential remix artists as well winning the top 24th spot in the Public Enemy/M-Audio remix contest "Harder Than You Think" in late 2008! Endeva transformed his lyrical abilities into "motivational speaking" which he does on a regular basis to help the public become more aware of their inner self and exposes the positive potential that everybody possesses! Now Endeva the BeatZmith has teamed up with a Romanian Hip-Hop producer/artist by the name of "DJ SOP" to bring you a volume series catered to the TRUE Hip-Hop fans across the world!!

DJ SOP

DJ SOP was yelling for music after the doctor said "PUSH" to his mother which managed to get him out of her at 5 in the morning September 11th 1987. He was born and raised in a city called Resita in Romania. At the age of seven, his mother had a car accident and he kind of started becoming to take on life's struggles since she couldn't walk anymore. He has a father that is more into paintings but now has a profession for doing tattoos for a living. DJ SOP has been developing his talent more for music and back in 2001 he was buying his first turntables from Numark with the help of a friend from overseas. His friend has got him into learning how to scratch since he already had a passion for hip-hop. A big period lead him into having a hip-hop band called "Serviciul Underground de Informatii" which in English means "Underground Service of Information" till 2006 when the MC of the band quit doing his purpose. DJ SOP also used his music knowledge for their first graffiti movie of the country Romania named "Underground Phase One" which was in the 2002-2003 era for making the intro and outro (it can be found by searching on YouTube for Underground Phase One Romania).

It was a big period between 2001 and 2006 for getting out some of their tracks over mixtapes but despite that they never got out an album that was finalized. After 2006, he had been collaborating with many MC's in Romania. DJ SOP also has been the first DJ using turntables in a prison in Romania called "Popa Sapca" in a city called Timisoara. Some of his best friends were there for getting caught selling and using drugs. DJ SOP had the opportunity to go there with his turntables and make some repetitions for two hours with them to prepare for a show outside the prison. He also did some scratches and tracks for "www.hiphopkulture.ro" for the hip-hop sessions there. DJ SOP is working on many projects now and most of them being free for use and to listen to. He is into the search of making himself more known by trying to collaborate with quality artists from other countries/overseas because actually in his country Romanian Hip-Hop is very little having only two bands making money out of it, the rest being too underground or not having finding themselves many spectators and listeners yet. So DJ SOP's main purpose is to get out internet material to make his productions heard and promote MC's overseas and maybe to have some concerts as well. Shows are most appreciable into the Hip-Hop scene and can be something very possible to approach. He has been also getting into many genres of course Hip-Hop but also "Dubstep". He keeps doing all his work continuously with his turntables, midi keyboard, etc. and all his knowledge on music making/editing/producing programs like Propellerhead's Reason, Fruity Loops, Acid Pro & Cool Edit ...software he actually got to know all this time he got into music. DJ SOP is serving the listeners carefully with vibes and messages from all his experiences that gets him step by step closer into succeeding!!
