Biography

Darrell D. Kelly ("D" Poetic Preacha) started in music as a pianist at the age of 8. He began to write lyrics at the age of 12, and began his singing ministry and career at the age of 14 when he sang publicly for the first time in a youth conference. Darrell went on to become Music Minister & Youth Pastor at Free Spirit Community Church, where his parents: Bishop James and Pastor Margie Kelly are the pastors. Darrell holds a B.A. in Theology from Beacon University Institute of Ministry.

Darrell is the loving husband of Angela and proud father of is daughter Zuri. "D" Poetic Preacha continued to minister, produce, publish, and manufacture his own albums independently. Thus, he became the founder of the ministry and record label known as Supernatural Sounds, Inc. and DAUDI Publishing.

In 2007 Darrell has was featured in a TBN Taping and aired in the US. Darrell has taken this ministry of music to TBN, Middle Schools, High Schools, Prisons, Juvenile Detention Centers, Churches, Conferences, Youth Rallies, the "March for Jesus Rally", and much more. The Ministry of Darrell Kelly is continuing to spread across the United States as well as into other nations of the world. Darrell's music has reached South Africa, Zimbabwe, England, the Netherlands, and Japan.

Pastor Darrell has had the privilege to share the stage with some of Gospel Music's most renowned artists, such as: John P. Kee, Helen Baylor, Vernessa Mitchell, Angelo & Veronica, Phil Driscol, Henry Louw, Urban Hope, Bill & Renee' Morris, Daryl Coley, The Ambassador, The Cross Movement, D.C.P. and L. G. Wise.
