BIOGRAPHY
Dale Boswell is a singer/songwriter from Phenix City, Alabama. Music has always been a part of Dale's life. From an early age, he started writing songs, singing, playing guitar, and listening to Country Music. Absorbing all he could, he dreamed of performing on the Grand 'Ole Opry,..The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree, and meeting his idol, Merle Haggard! Well, the Opry is still a dream. But, he has met Hag! And thanks to his close friend and Music Legend Razzy Bailey, Dale played the "Jamboree" in October, 2008! Performing his emotionally filled tribute "My Soldier Prayer". Dale was honored by a standing ovation. When Dale sings this song, no matter the venue, all attention is diverted to the stage. Tears are shed, the Vets stand and salute the flag, and it is there and then,..if only for a moment, THE FALLEN SOLDIER IS HONORED.

I have heard those words over and over again, of which I am deeply honored. When I wrote My Soldier Prayer, I had no idea the emotional impact it would have on those who would hear it. Probably one of the simplest songs I've ever written, it seemed to capture the essence of those who gave all, and maybe
provide a little closure to the families, friends, and fellow soldiers left behind. It is these people that deserve the credit.
