Danielle Kelley

Danielle Kelley began singing in the youth choir at a very young age, performing her first lead on “I Really Love The Lord” at six years old at Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY. The first born of Rev. Dr. David L. Kelley II and First Lady Kim Kelley hails from a singing family, with deep gospel roots. Her first love was the piano, but that quickly changed with the growth of her love for singing.

In January 2008, she joined the NY Fellowship Mass Choir, under the leadership of the late Rev. Timothy Wright, as a background singer in the soprano section, until the Godfather of Gospel discovered her voice. She continues to be a dedicated lead vocalist in that ministry now known as the Timothy Wright Memorial Choir, and is a featured lead on the choir’s hit single, “God Has Been So Good,” as well as a faithful member of the DW Project, led by Pastor David Wright.

On January 27, 2012, Danielle debuted as a solo gospel artist in her first live concert and recording at her home church, where she serves in music ministry on the praise and worship team and several choirs.

Danielle's singles, You Are, Still Have Joy, and Conqueror have been spinning on internet radio stations across the country since their June 2012 release, garnering much anticipation for the full album soon to follow.

Danielle is often quoted as saying “Music is how God and I communicate with each other.” She now presents an open invitation to all to join in the intimate conversation, with her Godfather Records debut album, Conqueror.
