Danielle Kelley

Danielle Kelley began singing at a very young age, performing her first lead at six years old on the classic "I Really Love the Lord" with her youth choir at Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY. The first born of Rev. Dr. David L. Kelley II and First Lady Kim Kelley hails from a singing family with deep gospel roots. Her first love was the piano, but that quickly changed with the growth of her love for singing.

In January 2008, she joined the NY Fellowship Mass Choir, under the leadership of the late Rev. Timothy Wright, as a background singer in the soprano section, until the Godfather of Gospel discovered her voice. She continues to be a dedicated lead vocalist in that ministry now known as the Timothy Wright Memorial Choir, and is a featured lead on the choir’s first and hit single, “God Has Been So Good,” as well as a faithful member of the DW Project and now the next generation of the NY Fellowship Mass Choir, all led by Pastor David Wright.

On January 27, 2012, Danielle debuted as the first solo recording artist on the newly formed Rev. Timothy Wright tributary independent label, Godfather Records.

Danielle's singles, You Are, Still Have Joy, and Conqueror have been spinning nationally on both terrestrial and internet radio stations across the country since their release, and she can now be heard on her own Pandora Radio station. It is no surprise that the largest independent gospel awards show in the nation has opened its arms to Conqueror with five nominations for the 2014 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, including both CD of the Year and Song of the Year! Danielle is a sought-after soloist and psalmist with an awesome and rapidly expanding ministry.

Danielle is often quoted saying “Music is how God and I communicate with each other.” She now presents an open invitation to all, to join in the intimate conversation with her debut album, "Conqueror."
