Born and raised in Dallas, TX, David Ball has been playing live music since he was only fifteen years old. Playing and writing songs always came naturally, so being in a number of bands throughout high school and college was no coincidence. Ball attended Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he joined with four fellow classmates to form Where The Sidewalk Ends in 1995.
The band had a great run, playing with the likes of The Dave Matthews Band, Carbon Leaf, The Pat McGee Band, Fighting Gravity, Gib Droll, and others. They released an EP in 1996 and a full-length CD entitled "Jhanked" in 1997.
Since that time, Ball has moved back to Dallas and raised a family. He has recently re-emerged into the singer-songwriter industry with a more rich story than ever before, and his renewed passion for life is truly evident in these songs.
