BIOGRAPHY

October 2011 will see the release of founder member of Dire Straits, David Knopfler's eleventh solo album. It's an acoustic, double CD with eighteen tracks including seven new songs - all recorded in September 2011 at Smokestack Studio in London with guitarist and co-producer Harry Bogdanovs. For anyone who has seen David and Harry live - this hybrid is much like a live album performed in the same spirit, but with the recording advantages a studio has to offer.
