David Warin Solomons is a self-taught composer of lyrical tonal music. His works are published by various publishers and have been performed by various musicians in countries as far afield as the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Latvia, the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland - and also online.
He also sings alto (countertenor) and has been involved in various online and offline collaborations singing with electronic and live performers and also with other composers. Most recently his vocal endeavours have also included multivocal performances in the studio in which he sings all the parts of various works ranging from madrigals to works by living composers, including his own. In this multivocal persona he is known as the dwsChorale.
In the "real" world he has sung with church and cathedral choirs in London and Manchester UK, and has made occasional forays into the lyrical "popular" world of the 1950s and 1960s and songs of the shows with a secular choir in Sale.
