Days11

Biography

Days11 was originally formed in early 2005 by the current drummer Lindsay Lerma and guitarist David Fischer as an alternative punk band. Days11 later reformed with a new style and vision bringing in vocalist Chris McIntyre, and bassist Landon Lerma. Days11 is now described as a Melodic Hard Rock band with a slight edge. All four members of Days11 have grown up locally in the Reno/Tahoe area. Each member has brought their own taste and style of music into the band. Their varying backgrounds range from Classic Rock, and Blues, to Heavy Metal, Punk, and Rap. In 2008 Days11’s self produced CD “Desire” was released. The CD was recorded, mixed and mastered by the two brothers in the band, Lindsay and Landon Lerma

There are many ideas about why Days11 is called Days11. The great part about our name isn't the fact that we have a meaning behind it, but that the myths are much better than the meaning itself. The band originally got together due to a common love for music, and the hope to show it to many others. For Days11, the drive is making music that will make your heart race, and will send a shiver down your spine. The talent and musical influence of each is built upon a foundation of solid iron. So many of you ask what Days11 means. Instead of looking for meaning in the name, find the meaning of the music through the motion of progression. Or if it is difficult to understand: Get trapped in the melody, and stay there forever.
