Debs is a Newcastle (UK) based artist and maker of music. She trained at The Kent Institute of Art & Design and Goldsmith's, University of London.
Debs is a multi-instrumentalist. She writes what could be described as acoustic indie-folk. She also writes cinematic soundscapes.
Debs has played live in session for the BBC. She’s received multiple plays on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio Newcastle, Amazing Radio, Newcastle Roots Music Radio, Debt Records, Radio KC, Squarepip Radio, WRIR Radio USA, OGR Radio USA, Columbia University Radio USA, Storyteller Music Australia in recent months.
Debs was recently involved in the ‘Ralph’s Life CD Project’ bringing together 40 under the radar musicians along with the likes of Tom Robinson and Helen McCookerybook to raise funds and awareness for mental health issues.
