Deelee is a singer songwriter from London who has worked as a session singer for several renowned artists and on musical projects with producers and emerging artists. Deelee has performed at several London venues and formed her first band at the age of 14.
Deelee pursued an academic path and studied at the Brit School and then pursued a degree in music and media. Since graduating, she has been doing session recordings and performing with renowned artists and musicians amongst being involved in other collaboration projects. Deelee is now working on her own original material and other musical projects with musicians and producers, alongside performing in various venues in and around London.
It was during a chance encounter at one of her performances that Deelee teamed up with professional Guitarist, John Jallow (Credits include: Buddy Guy, Marvin Gaye, Billy Preston, Billy Ocean, C.J Lewis). Since 2002 this music collaboration project has produced over an albums worth of original material. "Rainy Day Blues", an original composition (Dube/Jallow) has gained mass popularity and airplay and, has successfully appealed to wide audiences across the UK, Europe, and the US.
Deelee is often performing in and around London's live music circuit with her band of musicians (The Dulcet Tones) and is currently making final touches to her debut album.
