Deluge Grander

Biography

Deluge Grander is a progressive rock group from the Baltimore/DC area in the U.S. We are:

Dave Berggren: guitars
Dan Britton: keyboards
Patrick Gaffney: drums
Christopher West: bass

Deluge Grander formed in 2005 in Baltimore. The first Deluge Grander album was "August in the Urals," which was released in September 2006. It features long songs, complex arrangements, and diverse styles, though you could probably just classify it as "progressive rock" or "retro-prog."

The second Deluge Grander album is "The Form of the Good" and had a general release date of Summer 2009. There are several
guest musicians playing cello, trombone, violin, oboe, trumpet, and sax/fl/clarinet. It's almost completely instrumental, and you could call it "DIY Classical" if you dread the phrase "retro-prog" as much as I do.
