I grew up in the 80's listening to OMD, Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Erasure, Kraftwerk, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, New Order, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, New Order etc... My friends and I basically lived at record stores due to our love of electronic music. Once the 90's hit, the whole "rave" scene was starting in America and my attention was drawn to the instrumental electronic music that could take you places without words. So basically besides maybe The Stone Roses and Echo & the Bunnymen, my ear was always craving more electronic music. So long story short, I began creating my studio about two years ago and became quite an analog synthesizer junkie. I try to use all my instruments so each song I create will have a little of everything, at least that is the intent. My gear list includes the following: Analogue Solutions Telemark, Roland JX3P, Roland JX8P, Sequential Circuits Six-Trak, Dave Smith Poly Evolver Keyboard, Roland Juno 106, Akai AX-60, Doepfer Dark Time, Pittsburgh Modular Foundation, Elektron Machinedrum, Nord Wave, a couple of Behringer BCR2000's and a Cyclone Analogic TT-303.
Gear does not make the musician, it just makes it really fun to be the musician.
I hope you enjoy my music and thanks for reading!
