Dirty Boots is a multi-instrumentalist indie rock trio from San Francisco. Its members, James Dumlao (Drums, Trumpet & Vocals), Gyasi Ross (Guitar, Vocals) and Rachel Lastimosa (Bass, Keys & Vocals) met each other in a vocal jazz ensemble in college. That was to be the foundation for their sound that includes lush three part harmonies, as well as dynamic songwriting, ranging the influences of indie, jazz, hip-hop, soul and r&b styles. Their self titled debut EP was released on May 2009. Since 2008, they've played in the San Francisco bay area at venues such as Elbo Room, Rockit Room, El Rio, Amnesia, the Stork Club, Bruno's, Poleng Lounge, Jack Adams Hall and Great American Music Hall.
