Tracie Berry-McGhee, poetically speaking (DivineTea) received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1990 and her M. Ed in Counseling, in 1998 from the University of Missouri, St. Louis.
In 2003, she produced a spoken-word CD, and self-published SistaKeeper Poetry for the Soul book, curriculum and journal for young girls seeking to find self, and become aware of their purpose. In 2004, as a result of her book and CD, she established SistaKeeper Empowerment Center which became a nonprofit organization in St. Louis, MO and now has chapters in Africa, Jamaica, New Mexico and Germany.
The goal is nurturing inner awareness, building self-esteem and developing purpose in girls and women.
