Don Arbor is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, and award-winning video artist whose songs have been compared to such varied performers as George Harrison, Steely Dan, Jason Mraz and Green Day. Don's new single, "If I Had a Son, He'd Look Like Trayvon," was inspired by the tragic events in Florida in February 2012, and by President Obama's comments about the killing. You can see the moving video of this song at http://youtu.be/WYewP9jdCbo.
On a much brighter side, Don's single, "Another Sunny Day in Paradise," captures the beat and melody of a summer day when everything goes right. Both these songs are on the new CD to be released in June 2012. Or check out "My Life 2.0," the modern rock tale of two would-be lovers who "meet" at a virtual show.. of course, they don't "actually" meet.
Don's last CD, "Salam Pax (Peace)," was praised for Don's "softly dramatic and honey warm vocals... Throughout it all, Arbor's vocals seduce and evoke a myriad of emotions." http://twangtownreviews.com/2008/07/24/don-arbors-softly-dramatic-and-honey-warm-voice-recalls-don-mclean/
The "Salam Pax (Peace)" video won the award for Best Music Video at the Berkeley Video and Film Festival.
