BIOGRAPHY
Born in Washington, DC in 1958, the harpsichordist and organist Douglas Amrine studied harpsichord with Lisa Goode Crawford at Oberlin, and both organ and harpsichord with Gustav Leonhardt at the Sweelinck Conservatorium Amsterdam. He has travelled extensively to become familiar with a wide variety of historical keyboard instruments in museums, churches and private collections, and has given solo recitals on historic organs and harpsichords. His first recording, Pro Cembalo Pleno: Bach on the Pedal Harpsichord, is available on iTunes and Amazon. Douglas Amrine now lives in Singapore.
