Peter came up with the Personal Resilience concept, realising a real need for his product in the world we live in. He explains: “In times of increasing pressure through job insecurities, financial hardship and disintegration of family structures we require the ability to access our inner resources for health and peak performance. Facing crisis causes stress and long term stress makes us not only unwell, but also prevents us from being able to access the creative resources within us, which we need master the crisis or challenge successfully”
High levels of stress forces people into behavioural patterns of "fight and flight" or "freeze" (paralysis and inactivity), both of which are unhelpful and unsuccessful.
In creating this series of audio recordings, Peter wanted to provide an effective tool to develop and deepen autonomy, dedication and skills in peoples’ working and private lives. Peter’s approach unites principles of heart rate variability training to improve physical health with elements of positive psychology to maintain peak performance and wellbeing even under major pressure.
The aim is to align the conscious and subconscious mind with our body physiology and that is achieved by using music and art as powerful means for initiating and supporting personal and professional development. The music and the breathing techniques help to relax and the fairytale provides the storyline, imagery and dialogue in symbolic form that speak to the subconscious mind and tell it to work closely together with our conscious mind to bring transformation, personal growth, health, happiness and success into reality.
Peter summarises this product by saying “Listening to the Hero's Journey in this fairytale in a receptive state, is like applying a master plan for personal growth, resilience, health, strength and success. This master plan triggers an optimal co-operation of all human faculties under the inner leadership of our true self.”
