Emily Duffill is an accomplished and seasoned cellist with many years experience as a performer and teacher. She has toured internationally, performing recitals in the US, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. From 2004-2006 she was a Fulbright Scholar - an award given to her by her native New Zealand government. Accepted into the Manhattan School of Music in New York, she studied with some of Americas best performers, teachers and conductors. At the conclusion of her studies she was invited to join the Civic Orchestra of Chicago under the auspices of Daniel Barenboim.
Ms Duffill has given master-classes and workshops at leading universities, for example, the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Newcastle Conservatorium of Music and University of the Philippines. She has been invited to perform as a soloist and chamber musician for events such as the Australian Festival of Chamber Music in Townsville, Bellingen Classical Music Festival, Nelson Festival of the Arts and the New Zealand International Festival of the Arts. She has performed as a soloist for several ABC documentaries and Australian movie soundtracks such as Romulus My Father. She lives and works in Sydney, Australia.
Dr. Kaju Lee has performed extensively as a collaborative pianist in Australia, Austria, Canada, Korea, the Philippines and the US. She has appeared at several prestigious festivals, such as the Salzburg Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, Aria Music Festival, and the Orford Music Festival. Her performances have been broadcast on leading radio stations in Canada, Korea and the US. She has also worked for the University of Miami, Manhattan School of Music, Young Texas Artists Music Competition, and the Choral Symphony Society in New York City. She has been invited to adjudicate competitions of the Houston Music Teachers Association, Conroe Music Teachers Association, Sonatina Festival and Betty Clampitt Piano Contest. Kaju completed her Doctor of Musical Arts degree in collaborative piano at the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she studied under Anne Epperson. She holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, McGill University (Montréal) and Hanyang University (Seoul). Dr. Lee is currently on the faculty as a collaborative pianist at Sam Houston State University in Texas.
