East Main is a four-piece group with two of the members from the Atlanta, Georgia area, one from Williamsburg, Virginia, and one from Northern Illinois. With all four members coming from different backgrounds and influence, we try to incorporate all we know into our music.
Luke Caccetta is the lead singer from Williamsburg, Virginia. He was raised a good ole southern boy influenced by artists such as Hank Williams, Molly Hatchet,Bruce Springsteen and Elvis. He has always had a love for music and songwriting and you can tell it by the way he dances across the stage.
Matt Carey is the lead guitarist from Lawrenceville, Georgia. He began with the guitar at the age of eleven and hasn’t put it down since. Many guitarists including John Mayer, Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and B.B. King heavily influence his playing, and it is not hard to miss.
Brad Freeney is the bassist of the band from Peachtree City, Georgia. Growing up in a musical family, the bass became his favorite of the many instruments he learned to play. He looks up to icons like John Entwistle of The Who, James Jamerson of Motown, and Paul McCartney of The Beatles.
Luke, Brad, and Matt all had decided for college to go to Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to study the Recording Industry. None of them knew each other before school but all ended up living in the same dorm their first year. Luke and Matt formed the band in August 2011 adding Brad to the band in Spring of 2012 and Tony in Spring of 2013. The bands dream is to make the best music they possibly can and to have as many people hear their music as well.
