Hello fellow music lovers, here is some personal stuff about me.
I'm Dad to two of the most beautiful, intelligent, kind and loving daughters that a parent has ever been blessed with. They are all grown now and have professions and families of their own.
My eldest daughter Phelisha, is in real estate management and has her hands full with a fulltime job and family. My son in law, Alphonso and my daughter are parents to my three exceptional grandchildren. I helped raise these three lovely souls until they all were in school, sort of like a 'Mr. Grandpa' situation.
Dr. Joslyn PHD, is my youngest and she is a professor instructing at one local universities in science and biology. Restarting my education has been stressful to say the least (you all know what I mean) and I am just beginning to get a true perspective as to how hard my little girl worked to achieve her doctorate degree in biology, microbiology, and anthropology while maintaining honors level. Beyond outstanding. She and my son in-law Gene are professional hard working, caring souls.
I do southwestern scenes-paintings and various other styles in pencil, ink, and of course a palette of colors-paints. I am a published poet, and want to publish my children’s book some day.
I sing and write songs (Spanish and English or vice versa), produced and drew the back and front covers on my CD, titled Vagabundo Deseperado (Desperate Vagabond). The CD has been archived in the Smithsonian Institute as indigenous songs & music, laying emphasis on the corrido (ballad) titled 1894. This ballad relates a true account of my great grand fathers murder by a gang of robbers terrorizing the area at the time. Real stuff.
I hope everyone has enjoyed my tunes as much as I do singing them for you.
To all service men and woman, we thank you for your service and dedication. God bless you all and keep you in His Loving Arms.
