When long time Vancouver Island guitarist, John MacArthur met singer/song writer, Edie DaPonte in March 2012 , it was a musical kinship and mutual love of Latin and Bossa, that led them to create their debut album, Edie & John Love Bossa.
Located in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, this talented duo delivers sultry Brazilian bossa grooves, smooth jazz/blues, ballads, and toe-tapping swing numbers. With her distinctive soulful voice, Edie sings in English and Portuguese while John weaves in his creative guitar stylings.
